Dear Defender,

The Weight of a Birthright

A birthright belongs to children. This means blessings, wealth, and authority naturally pass to children born in covenant, even to the prodigal son, if he returns. Choice and rightful decisions determine inheritance. Mankind sells his birthright each day for a piece of fruit.

The First Exchange: Eve’s Fruit, Adam’s Voice

Eve sold her birthright for a fruit, based on lies, half-truths, and innuendos by an animal, the snake. Adam sold his birthright because he chose to listen to Eve’s voice instead of God’s. They both listened to voices other than God’s.

When we listen to any voice other than the voice of God, we surrender our divine rights. Have you ever wondered what voices you’re listening to besides the Bible?

The Word Still Speaks

The voice of God is speaking continually through the Bible. Listen attentively. All it takes is one bad decision to give away what was meant to bless you.

Freedom, when restored, is the return of abundance. Your bonus? The privilege to choose obedience. Not rebellion, corruption and decay.

What Is Real Freedom?

Oxford Dictionary defines freedom as: The power or right to act, speak, or think as one wants. The state of not being imprisoned or enslaved. But here’s the truth: Freedom without boundaries is lawlessness. Structure sustains society. Obedience to God is true freedom. Disobedience invites slavery, not with chains, but with lusts and habits that rot the soul. Lust becomes habit. Habit becomes bondage. Bondage becomes destiny.

Life or Death: Watch the Branch

We know something is wrong by the symptoms we feel. A dead branch doesn’t crumble right away; it looks green for a moment. But it’s already cut off. Soon, the signs show: dryness, discolouration and decay. Worms and maggots come after. But grafted back in? That same branch springs to life again.

Your birthright is life in the Tree.

Return to the Tree

Come back. Embrace your birthright of freedom from sin, death, and sickness. It’s not complicated, it’s a daily walk of obedience.

We Celebrate Life, But Recognize Death

Birthdays, weddings, and births are easy to celebrate. But death, disease, and rot are signals of another voice at work. No good father would create death and destruction. That’s the work of an enemy.

You may be functioning like a healthy branch, but disconnected inside. That’s your eureka moment.

Now ask:

Is there a solution?

Jesus Is the Answer

Yes—His name is Jesus.

“Salvation exists in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved,” (Acts 4:12)

He is the Alpha and Omega, the Truth, and the Life, and He grafts us back into freedom because our Obedience brings restoration.

Purity Is Freedom’s Guardrail

Disobedience breeds slavery, but obedience gives birth to freedom. Greed, lust, and vanity are chains, but Purity is the natural state, so our obedience is the daily key.

You Are Already Free

“It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery,” Galatians 5:1

You’re not fighting for freedom. You’re fighting from it. Freedom isn’t a bonus you earn after spiritual performance. Birthright is yours, sealed by blood, signed in suffering, and offered in love. 

This Week, Choice is Yours :

Declare it aloud:

“I am free because Christ said so. My chains are a lie, and I choose to walk in truth.” Watch what happens when heaven hears, and hell trembles.

The Defender’s Declaration

Right now, I breathe in strength.
Right now, I step into freedom.

Chains are falling behind me; victory is rising before me.

I am chosen.
I am equipped.
I am unstoppable.

Heaven goes before me;
The Spirit fights within me;
And nothing will stand against me.

In Jesus’ mighty name, Amen.

“The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Ghost,
be with you all. Amen.”
